A modern rear extension to a semi-detached property

The brief was to design a new front porch and bespoke rear extension with a large curtain wall to maximise light and provide a pleasant view of the garden and decking area from inside.

The design originally incorporated a balcony with flat roof, which was viewed unfavourably by the council, during the planning process the size and look of the rear extension was retained whilst adding a lean to roof. The final design gained planning approval.
